1979 July 4th Picnic

For many years Clayton, Ling and William Stephens held a July 4th block party at Iva Park.

Others that week: Crowd pictures at the fireworks show, Little League teams, Skylab preparedness.

BillRicksofSoperton: "First of all, I'm a mutation. At least that's what one of my doctors said. I'm an Army veteran and I hope to one day receive compensation for disabilities caused by my Army service so I can afford more time for blogging and other pursuits," is the first notation I made about me for my blog. The money isn't great, but it's good to have time for blogging and other pursuits, such as Google, Facebook, photography - old and new, old codgers and young codgers. Life is good!
