1976 Mighty Mites Banquet

Mrs. Mary Lou Davis and lunchroom staff prepared the banquet meal in honor of the 46 memebers of the Mighty Mites football, all 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students of Treutlen Elementary School. Dr. McNair donated the individual trophies that each boy received, and Richard Dennard donated the team trophy which was presented to TES Principal Augustus McArthur. Coaches Tommy Cullens, Wayne Sumner, and Terry Wright coached the team to a record of 9-4-1.  The names of the players need to be added, so we need help from all of our blog and facebook fans.

Others that week: Basketball, city workers, A. D. Joiner perfect attendance for 20 years at Lions Club, bank driveway, Gene Brooks, 4-H Clothing Club.
