Independent Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont took the floor Friday with the longest speech in 27 years.He said a lot of things that need hearing, and I hope that what he said will be told and retold. It addresses the growing divide between rich and poor in this country and the trend to control America by the highest bidders rather than the power of the people.
