Thirty-seven Treutlen 4-Hers learned a great deal about horses at the "Thousand Pine Plantation," the Crowe place. Wesley and Matt Crowe and Jon Hutcheson were instructors, followed by Mary Ann Warnock.
Others that week: Young William Mann showed off some baby flying squirrels, midget football, varsity game with Montgomery, Harold Wimber's rattlesnake, Citizens of the Year Hayes Fowler Lawton and Rep. Pete Phillips, new THS curtain, Hunter's 6th grade insect collections, and Junior 4-H Leadership.
