Back about the time the picture was made, I recall Bill Hall talking about one of Soperton "Characters" of long ago, whom he referred to "Old Man" so and so. Mr. Bill reflected and said, probably that's what people are calling me now "Old Man Bill Hall". He was in his 40th year beyond high school then, and now I'm 46 years beyond high school. What's that make me? Old or what?

I've been searching for my mother's family. Your blog came up in a Google search. Helena Joubert Reeves, pictured with her class here, is my mother's aunt. Her daughter, Helena, married a Clayton Stephens (or Stevens), and may still be in the Soperton area. Can you help me at all? My mother's birth name is Margaret Ross Amari. Her mother (Helena's sister) was Josephine Joubert Amari.
