1980 Voting at the Rural 'Courthouses'

August 6, 1980

More than once I spent a voting Tuesday riding with Clerk R. H. Warnock visiting every polling place in the county. All I did was visit the people and make pictures. Mr. Herbert carried a load of good will in the form of homemade tarts and other treats for the benefit of the polling officials and whoever they were inclined to share with. The photo was made at Orland beside the tracks. We would appreciate you naming the people in the picture. There are negatives of all precincts.

Others that week: Water tank, majorettes, softball, Mr. Windsor's sleeping bird in his carport, work at Planttel, flag corps, coaches, football team, Reggie Evans and Eloise Phillips, Robert Mann and Alan Smith, a group at the beach, probably 4-H.

The one sitting down is Billy Cone. Do not recognize the others.
