1980 Big Crowd!

REVISED POST!

80 1001 03
October 1, 1980

Subtitle: When Treutlen and Montgomery Sat Together

A big old crowd filled our stadium to see the Vikings whip up on the Montgomery County Eagles, 21-7. Best action shots were QB Scott Braddy intercepting an Eagle pass and Wendell Foskey stretching high to receive one of Scott's passes.

Others that week: More football, band, FFA Corn Contest, Lion Carlton Warnock with guests from NSI, Inc., and somebody fooling around with plumbing on Main Street.

It was pointed out after publication that these are the Montgomery County Cheerleaders, not Treutlen's. I'm sure that group worked hard, too, and deserve some recognition. Anyhow, I was concentrating on sharpening the faces in the crowd. Treutlen Cheerleaders of 1980, have no fear, we're at midseason, with time to feature you soon. After thinking of what good shots we had of Scott and Wendell we're publishing them as a bonus.
