It was a tough struggle, and THS came out on the short side with Metter, 29-22. But the cheerleaders did a great job keeping spirits high for the team and the fans.
Others that week: Pageant contestants, tennis courts being painted, Gene Smith, TES, Homecoming, Ag classes perfect attendance 40 days, Gaston McLendon with timber rattler, cleaning the park, sportsman gun winner Kaase, shots of Zelma Ricks and copies of Burns ancestors for festival book.
